The Accounting/Bookkeeping program is a technical program that results in an Associate of Applied Science degree. The program provides students with a basic knowledge of bookkeeping processes preparing them for employment in entry-level bookkeeping positions. Major emphasis is placed on computerized bookkeeping using QuickBooks Pro. Students will take a national certification exam during the last semester of the program. This degree can be transferred to Lewis and Clark State College if students wish to pursue further education. Students would transfer to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting program. Other in-state institutions may accept the credits from this program. If you are planning on transferring out of state, please check with your transfer institution for transferability.
