Construction Management

An associate degree in construction management prepares students to be a part of a team that manages the varying aspects of the construction site. Upon successful completion of the construction management program, students start entry-level management positions such as office engineer, project engineer, and field engineer. As work experience grows, advancement can happen to assistant project manager, project manager, or a job site assistant superintendent or superintendent. Additionally, students can work as estimators, general contractors, owner's representatives, project managers, and/or superintendents. The degree will also transfer into a bachelor's degree in construction management for further advancement in the field.
