Admission Steps

The Digital Media program is reviewed by an advisory board composed of local and regional industry members. The program meets in-person, and students may only enter this program in the fall semester.

  1. Apply to CSI: Fill out the free online form to Apply to CSI. Next, watch your email for an acceptance letter with further instructions on how to get set up as a new CSI student. 

  2. Limited enrollment: The Digital Media program has a limited enrollment of 18 incoming freshmen students. In addition, Digital Media students are required to take classes in-person (Monday through Thursday) in order to successfully complete the program requirements. 

  3. Prepare to enter the Digital Media program: Watch the linked video for important information about the program.

  4. Prepare for Registration: Make an appointment with an Enrollment Specialist to declare your major and get registration clearance.

  5. Schedule an appointment: Students will need to schedule a meeting with the program manager, Laura Erickson, in order to discuss the next steps to officially start the program.

Post-Acceptance Steps

Once you have been accepted into the Digital Media program, you need to meet regularly with an academic advisor. Regular meetings with your advisor are essential to staying on track for graduation. Advisors help students select appropriate courses, understand program requirements, and plan a sequence that aligns with their goals and timelines.
