Admission Steps

The Cabinetmaking/Woodworking program students will be trained to become employable as a cabinetmaker, wood window maker, installer, woodworker machine operator, assembler, finish carpenter, and furniture maker. This is a limited enrollment program that admits students in the fall semester.

 

  1. Apply to CSI and become a Golden Eagle: Fill out the free online form to Apply to CSI, then watch your email for your acceptance letter and instructions to get set up as a new student. 

  2. Prepare to enter the Woodworking program: Watch the linked video for important information about the program.

  3. Meet with Instructor: Schedule an appointment with program instructor Ben Miano to discuss next steps.

  4. Prepare for Registration: Make an appointment with an Enrollment Specialist to declare your major and get registration clearance.

Post-Acceptance Steps

Once you have been accepted into the Woodworking Technology program, you need to meet regularly with an academic advisor. Regular meetings with your advisor are essential to staying on track for graduation. Advisors help students select appropriate courses, understand program requirements, and plan a sequence that aligns with their goals and timelines.
