Why CSI - I chose CSI because I’ve never seen an educational institution care so much about their students like CSI does. Whether it's a scholarship or a shoulder to cry on after a rough test, the people here are more than willing to provide you with the support you need to be successful. It’s rare to find that sense of community elsewhere.
Fun Fact: I'm the biggest Formula 1 Racing Fan!
Avery DeWit
Major: I am an Animal Science major.
Career Path: My goal is to do field work for fish and game further down the road.
Hometown: I live in Wendell, Idaho but have always gone to school in Twin Falls.
Why CSI?: I chose CSI because it is close to home and affordable. I also love how much of a family CSI has become.
Fun Fact: I LOVE the outdoors!! I especially love working with fish!

Caleb Hampton
Major: Natural Resources.
Career path: Becoming a Forensic Anthropologist who works with the DPAA.
Hometown: Darlington Idaho.
Why CSI? I chose CSI because it's not too far but not too close to home at a good pric.
Fun Fact: I own and operate a Taxidermy Business.

Ciera Teschner
Major: Animal Science and Agribusiness
Career Path: I'm not sure exactly what I want to do for a career yet. I am planning on doing a 2+2 program at CSI through Idaho State University to get my Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science, Communication, and Leadership
Hometown: Twin Falls
Why CSI?: One of the big reasons was because CSI has an awesome Agriculture program, and it has a machining program for my husband so we can both be at the same school. Another main reason why I chose CSI over other schools is because it has smaller class sizes, which makes my education more individualized, and makes it easier to ask questions.
Fun Fact: I am a certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and with that training I personally teach people with disabilities how to ride horses. This summer I was able to compete a second Certification as an Equine Specialist in mental health and learning.
Carson Hess
Major - Digital Media
Career Path - I hope to have my own multimedia business that focuses on photography and graphic design.
Hometown - I am from Buhl and I attended school in the Filer school district my whole life.
Why CSI - CSI was a great choice for me because it is close to home, and provides the exact courses that I'm looking for! Not only that, but through CSI’s early college program, I was able to fast track the start of my college career throughout high school. CSI has so much to offer and I am still learning about all the benefits, I’m so excited to be attending the College of Southern Idaho!
Fun Fact - I was the first male cheerleader at Filer High School in over 10 years.
Emilio Acevedo
Major: Psychology & Political Science
Career Path: Family & Immigration Attorney

Why CSI?: I chose CSI because throughout all of high school I never even considered the idea of going to college. After my junior year heading into my senior year of high school, I made the decision that I wanted to go to college and become an attorney. Starting the journey at CSI has created a lot of paths and as given me a new way of thinking and appreciating school, and has helped me/helping me prepare for the next 6 years of my life that I will spend earning my degrees.
Fun Fact- My favorite movie is Grown Ups starring Adam Sandler, my favorite actor.

Career Path - Registered Nurse

Career Path: I want to work outside, I potentially would like to work with Fish and Game as a Conservation Specialist or GIS Analyst

Why CSI?: I chose to go to CSI because I've loved growing up in the Twin Falls community and CSI has always been a big part of that.
Fun Fact: I've completed 3 Spartan races before and hope to complete a Spartan Trifecta Weekend in the near future.

Career Path: I would like to take my RN career to the sky and become a flight nurse
Hometown: I grew up in Declo but have lived in Twin Falls since graduating HS in 07
Why CSI: I chose CSI because of the location, it's close to my home making it easy for me to be both a mother and a student. Also, my grandmother, mother, sister all graduated from CSI nursing program.
Fun Fact: I used to race Motocross before becoming a mom. I am still a huge outdoor enthusiast. I love to hunt waterfowl, upland, and big game. I still ride dirt bikes, and love to waterski and snow ski!
