Is Your Computer Ready for Canvas?
Canvas supports the last two versions of every browser release. Regularly updating your web browser is highly recommended. In the links below, you will find detailed information on the minimum system and browser requirements for desktop computers and mobile devices.
How Do I Access My Canvas Courses?
Access Canvas from CSI's home page in one of two ways:
- Click Current Students, then Canvas (within the Academics sub-menu)
- or, Click Quick Links, then Canvas
- Once you arrive at the web page titled Canvas for the College of Southern Idaho:
- If you are a CCR or Workforce student, click the labeled button to access your version of canvas.
- All other CSI students will click the button labeled Go to the main CSI Canvas
- Your Student Login Information:
- Username - your CSI email (your name@csi.edu)
- Password - your default password will be your birthday (mm/dd/yyyy). If you reset it and cannot remember your new password, contact the IT HelpDesk at (208) 732-6311 or helpdesk@csi.edu

*Important: When modifying your Notification settings, keep your Announcements and Conversation notifications ON to get email notifications about newly posted announcements and Inbox messages as soon as possible.
