Two paths, one goal: College success!
Early College at CSI aims to reach and serve two main groups of students: those still in high school, and those who are transitioning to college.
Dual credit coursework enables students to make progress towards a college degree before they finish high school. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and save on the overall cost of a college education.
Dual Credit at CSI partners with 60+ Idaho high schools to offer college-level classes taught in the high school classrooms. This coursework, sometimes called "concurrent enrollment", allows the student to earn college credit while fulfilling high school graduation requirements.
All Dual Credit teachers are certified by the State of Idaho and have a minimum of two years' teaching experience. CSI dual credit students have the same quality of education as they would on the CSI campus.
High school students can also take classes directly from CSI, either in-person on the CSI campus or via distance learning. Dual Credit students should talk to their high school counselsors to make sure they are correctly enrolled at both CSI and their high school.
CSI Early College can assist high school students with defining their education and career aspirations while providing resources for the transition process from high school to college, or to whatever endeavors they choose to pursue.
If you or your student is interested in advancing your education while in high school, don’t hesitate to contact us, and let’s start the conversation on how CSI can help you on your way to success!
