Get Fit Using Zoom

Can I Participate Virtually in Fitness Classes?

Using video conference technology like Zoom, we can offer fitness classes virtually! This means you can join in from any location where you have an Internet connection and participate in an exercise class either in real-time or by viewing a recorded session later. Our instructors have worked to set up their teaching spaces with the needed technology to ensure that remote participants can see and hear them, enabling them to participate effectively from a distance.

How do I use Zoom?

For the best experience using Zoom, we recommend you have access to the following:

  • a smartphone or computing device with a reliable, high-speed Internet connection

You may also want to consider:

  • computer speakers or headset
  • web camera with microphone

You will not need a paid Zoom license to participate in Over 60 and Getting Fit classes. Zoom is always free for attendees, and you can simply join from a web browser or smartphone Zoom app.

For additional help using Zoom, please check out our Help Using Zoom web page, where topics include “What you need to use Zoom” and “How to join a Zoom meeting.” If you still have questions after reviewing this information, please contact the CSI HelpDesk at (208) 732-6311 or email helpdesk@csi.edu
