Walking Directions for CSI Eagle Fest

Sodexo runs the Taylor Café and caters events on- and off-campus. Visit with them at the Taylor Student Union Building, which is dedicated to student engagement and socialization, offering a café, coffee shop, game area, and more.  

Stop by the free petting zoo hosted by the Vet Tech Club, Ag Club, and Ag Ambassadors. Don’t miss out on seeing all the animals on campus that day, there will be something for animal lovers of all ages. Come see how CSI students are making a difference in the lives of animals, and get a glimpse of the hands-on learning that makes our program so special. 

Our Machining and Manufacturing team will offer do-it-yourself souvenirs for a day of hands-on fun. Discover how you can turn your passion for precision into a career with our certificate and degree programs, all while celebrating CSI’s 60th anniversary of innovation and excellence. 

The Automation Engineering and Food Processing programs at CSI blend innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on learning to prepare students for high-demand careers. Stop by the Applied Technology and Innovation Center to experience the tech in action, and enjoy free ice cream cones and fresh-cut fries while you’re here!  

Discover the heart of creativity at the CSI Fine Arts Center. Bring the whole family and enjoy some live music while you explore the CSI Fine Arts Center, home to music, theater, dance, Arts on Tour, and more. For over 50 years, this dynamic hub has showcased the talents of students and professionals through performances, workshops, and cultural events.  Additionally, during Eagle Fest, create your own stunning Sun print at the CSI Art Complex - fun, free, and open to all ages! 

Join us for a fun-filled mini golf adventure through the library, and while you're here, take a tour of one of the most welcoming spaces on campus. Our friendly library staff will be on hand to show you around, help you sign up for a library account, and introduce you to everything we offer.

Come experience the thrill of the CSI Outdoor Challenge Course, where you can climb up to 50 feet in the air! Designed for fun, confidence-building, and teamwork, the course is open to the public and ideal for groups of 10 to 30. Whether you're planning an outdoor adventure, indoor activity, or portable team-building session, CSI’s Challenge Course offers unforgettable experiences for all ages and abilities. 

Curiosity comes alive at the Herrett Center for Arts and Science! Located at the northeast corner of campus, we inspire learners of all ages with hands-on museum exhibits and programs, cultural collections, and live sky tours. Come visit us to explore the galleries, see the sky in our observatory, and interact with some of our reptilian friends. On display exclusively for Eagle Fest is the Simon Clovis Cache. Simon Cache is over 10,000 years old and one of the largest Clovis stone tool caches ever discovered. 

The CSI Community Education Center offers classes for health and fitness, money and finance, home and garden, and much more! Come check out the schedule of events and sign up for your favorites. 

Come visit the Higher Education Center and meet the university mascots while discovering how simple it is to transfer or enroll in classes from Boise State University, Idaho State University, and the University of Idaho, right here on the CSI campus! CSI’s Lifelong Wellness program supports healthy living for people of all ages through fitness and movement designed to keep you active and engaged. Our Forever Fit program is for seniors over the age of 60 with offerings across the Magic Valley.  Our Active Aging program is for people of all ages with classes such as Pilates, Weight Training, Water Fitness, and Yoga to name a few! It's easy to find a class that fits your lifestyle! Discover how small steps can lead to lifelong vitality, one class at a time. 

CSI students will have multiple stations set up with fun things for kids, a.k.a the Kids Zone! Papa Tophi will be here with free balloons. You can also visit Student Affairs staff to get information regarding housing and other services available to students who are enrolled at CSI.

Come celebrate with CSI Athletics, one of the most decorated junior college athletic programs in the nation! Meet your favorite local athletes and coaches, and don’t forget to snap a photo with our beloved mascot, Gilbert the Golden Eagle.  

CSI’s Trade and Industry programs offer hands-on training in some of today’s most in-demand careers. With small class sizes and affordable tuition, students can gain real-world experience in any of our 12 programs, from Drafting and Woodworking to Autobody and Diesel Technology.
