Program Accreditation

The veterinary technology program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). The program has enjoyed "Full" accreditation status since 1999.

Veterinary Technician National Examination Scores

Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for a national test called the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). Successful completion of this examination is required for licensing in most states. All veterinary technology programs accredited by the AVMA must post-examination data as a component of the accreditation process.
