CSI offers the Welding Entrance Exam for individuals seeking admission to the CSI Welding Program. The exam is available at the Main Campus Testing Center in Twin Falls and the Burley Testing Outreach Center in Burley.

Candidates should plan to allow up to 2.5 hours to complete the exam. Please verify current operating hours with the selected Testing Center and plan accordingly.
Candidates must know their MYCSI login credentials prior to testing and should verify access before arriving at the Testing Center. Candidates who do not know their login information must contact the CSI Help Desk at 208-732-6311 for assistance.
The Welding Entrance Exam consists of four required sections, which must be completed in the following order:
Candidates will be provided with three blank sheets of paper (two yellow, one white), a Welding Drawing Packet, a calculator, and a welding exam tool kit. The yellow paper is for draft work. The final drawing must be completed on the white paper, which is labeled in the bottom-right corner. The completed drawing will be scanned and emailed to the Welding Department.
