2023-02-02 - 2023-02-01 - The College of Southern Idaho Office on Aging is excited to announce the resumption of weekend meal service for 175 seniors living in Blaine, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Minidoka, and Twin Fall counties. The resumption of service is thanks to a $32,760 donation from St. Luke’s and SelectHealth in support of the home-delivered meals program. The funds will be used to provide weekend meals for vulnerable seniors living in the Magic Valley.
2023-02-01 - 2023-02-01 - The Herrett Center at the College of Southern Idaho is excited to announce the date of the STEAM Camp-In overnight event. This program is designed for students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade who are interested in learning about various STEAM topics (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) in a fun, engaging environment. Participants are invited to the museum for an evening packed with science workshops, a planetarium show, a trip to the observatory, and many other fun activities.

2022-12-15 - The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) Board of Trustees is seeking applicants to fill a seat on its Board following the resignation of Trustee Jack Nelsen during the Board’s monthly meeting on Monday, December 12. Nelsen was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in November, where he will fill Seat B in Idaho District 26.

2022-11-17 - The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) Board of Trustees recognized former Board member LeRoy Craig on Monday night by naming the college’s new location in Jerome in his honor. The 20,000 square foot instruction and training facility, which is to be constructed on the corner of Third and Lincoln in Jerome, will significantly expand CSI’s presence in the community and will officially be known as the LeRoy Craig Jerome Center.
2022-10-21 - Future College of Southern Idaho (CSI) engineering and computer science students benefit from a $5 million National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant recently awarded to Boise State University. Through a partnership with Boise State, CSI will receive just over $150,000 per year for four years, money that will be used to support scholarships for high-achieving students with demonstrated financial need.
2022-10-20 - The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) has joined Idaho’s other higher education institutions in an agreement that will make it easier for CSI students who earn an associate degree to move directly into higher-level programs at Idaho four-year institutions.

The revamped Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Operations Management is designed to allow students and workers in the Magic Valley to attain a bachelor’s degree without having to relocate or take classes solely online, providing them with a local option to gain the knowledge and skills they need to advance in the workforce.

2022-04-13 - Students from the College of Southern Idaho Agriculture Department recently attended the North American College Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Collegiate Judging Conference in North Platte, Nebraska along with over 500 college students plus their coaches and instructors. 16 students and two advisors from the CSI Agriculture Club represented Idaho at the event.
